Born and educated in Sydney, Texon graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology)

His early career experience saw him work in schools, hospitals, and immediately prior to joining the Kids First team, Texon worked for a learning support service in Sydney’s northern suburbs.

Texon is an active, innovative and flexible therapist who incorporates children’s hobbies and interests into sessions so that their speech therapy environment is fun and rewarding for them.

Texon’s background in learning support means that he has a strong understanding of the primary and high school curriculum and has helped hundreds of children to improve their reading, spelling and writing.

In addition to supporting children who attend mainstream schools and preschools, Texon also supports children with complex communication needs and has worked with children who have conditions such as autism, global developmental delay and intellectual disability.

Texon is a popular member of the Kids First team and children enjoy the unique energy and enthusiasm that he brings to speech therapy. Parents also appreciate his thorough and dedicated commitment to helping children overcome their difficulties.
