Rebecca is a highly experienced speech therapist who brings a calm, confident presence and a great sense of fun to her work with children and families. Well known across Sydney’s northern beaches, she has supported children for more than fifteen years in private practice, school settings and multidisciplinary teams.

Rebecca first worked at Kids First a decade ago, and her return to lead our speech pathology team has been warmly welcomed by colleagues who value her steady judgement, adaptable style, and down to earth way of supporting children’s communication and learning. She brings a warm, upbeat style to every session and is known for making children feel instantly at ease.

Her career has included working as a school based speech pathologist for the Tasmanian Department of Education, where she supported students to strengthen oral language and literacy skills in their classrooms. In private practice, she has worked with children across all stages of development and is skilled in supporting those with speech sound disorders, language delays, literacy difficulties, early stuttering, autism and Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

Rebecca also works in a neurodivergent affirming way. Her approach is respectful, collaborative and strengths based, and she supports children to communicate in ways that feel authentic, comfortable and sustainable. As a parent herself, she understands the daily pressures that families face and offers practical, realistic strategies that make a difference in children’s real worlds.

Rebecca is available at Kids First from Monday to Friday, and her services can be accessed through health funds, Medicare, and the NDIS. She looks forward to welcoming you and your child to speech therapy.

We see you,
We understand you,
We’re here for you.
