Olivia is one of those speech therapists who just gets children. She’s warm, down-to-earth, and brings a thoughtful mix of evidence-based strategies and playful connection to every session. She is passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment where children can express themselves authentically, connect, learn, and thrive.
As a speech pathologist, Olivia provides engaging speech therapy to children aged 18 months to 14 years, and has worked with young learners in clinics, schools, and home settings. She is passionate about helping children build the speech, language and communication skills they need to feel confident in themselves and capable in their everyday lives – whether they’re learning to pronounce sounds clearly, build their vocabulary, find their words with more ease, or connect with the people around them.
Olivia enjoys working with children across a wide range of communication needs – from speech sound disorders and language delays, to stuttering, literacy challenges and social communication differences. She also has experience supporting autistic children and children with developmental delays, always taking a neuro-affirming, strengths-based approach that celebrates each child’s personality and way of being in the world.
She values partnering with families, educators and other professionals along the way, so that children get consistent, practical support whether they’re at home, at school, or in therapy. Olivia has also completed training with The Hanen Centre in supporting early communication, as well as training in Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
With warmth, skill and genuine care, Olivia helps her clients build confidence in how they communicate, supporting them to feel understood and celebrated – just as they are.
Olivia works at Kids First Children’s Services Monday to Thursday. Rebates for her speech therapy sessions may be claimed through Medicare, private health funds, and the NDIS. She looks forward to meeting you and your child.
