Occupational Therapist Ellie Priebbenow is a much-loved member of the Northern Beaches community and brings warmth, experience and creativity to her work with children and families. Based in Brookvale at Kids First Children’s Services, Ellie brings warmth, experience and creativity to her work with children and families. She has supported children across paediatric private practice and community settings, delivering care that is practical, personalised and always child-focused.
Ellie provides occupational therapy for children aged 3–14 who experience sensory processing challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, coordination delays, and reduced independence in everyday tasks. Ellie combines her experience and neurodiversity-affirming approach to support each child’s strengths, challenges and individual way of engaging with the world.
Whether a child is learning to hold a pencil, stay calm in the classroom, or become more independent with dressing or eating, Ellie delivers paediatric OT sessions that are fun and purposeful. She is experienced in using a wide range of standardised assessments and collaborates closely with other members of Kids First’s multidisciplinary team to support each child at home, preschool, school and in their community.
Families and educators enjoy working with Ellie because of her kind nature and strong communication skills. She collaborates closely with parents, teachers and other therapists to ensure occupational therapy goals are supported across all parts of a child’s life. She brings fresh ideas, genuine care, and a belief that progress happens when everyone is on the same page.
Ellie works at Kids First Mondays to Fridays at Kids First Children’s Services in Brookvale. Rebates for her occupational therapy sessions can be claimed through Medicare, private health funds and the NDIS.
