How Courageous Kids can help your child these school holidays.
School holidays are a wonderful opportunity for your child to take a breath, step back from the pressures of school life, and focus on building the confidence and skills they need to thrive. If anxiety has been holding your child back, the Courageous Kids program is here to help.
This program is designed to give your child the tools they need to manage their worries in a supportive and fun environment, setting them up for a brighter, more confident start to the school term.
A Chance to Really Focus
Without the usual distractions of homework and school, your child can take the time to focus on what matters – learning new ways to manage their big feelings and building the confidence to face challenges head-on.
Tools to Tackle Worries
With guidance from our experienced child psychologists, your child will learn simple, effective strategies based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). These tools will help them feel more in control of their fears and ready to approach life with more confidence.
Time to Practise and Grow
Confidence comes with practice, and the school holidays are the perfect time for your child to try out their new skills in a relaxed and encouraging space. Every session gives them a chance to grow, step by step.
A Head Start for the New Term
Starting a new term can feel daunting for a child struggling with anxiety. By building their skills over the holidays, your child will head back to school feeling stronger, more capable, and ready to take on the challenges ahead.
Fun, Connection, and Support
Courageous Kids isn’t just about learning – it’s about helping your child feel seen, understood, and supported. With a small group of peers who share similar struggles, your child will make connections, feel less alone, and enjoy themselves along the way.
The school holidays are the perfect time for your child to take a meaningful step towards managing their anxiety and building a brighter, more confident future. Contact Kids First now to reserve a place for your child!

Courageous Kids groups are led by our Child Psychologists who have extensive background in children’s mental health and development. At Kids First, partial rebates for psychology services are available if your child has a Medicare plan that has been set up by their family GP.
Children with a NDIS plan may use their NDIS funding for this program; however, please note that our Courageous Kids program does not cater specifically to children with disabilities. Our SOCIAL SKILLS group for kids with unique needs may be a more appropriate clinical option for your child.
