Suzanne Byrne

Child and Family Clinician

Suzanne brings years of experience working with people of all ages to her role at Kids First. After a long career spent leading, supporting and training others for success, she has followed her passion for helping children and is in the final year of her provisional psychology internship.

Suzanne takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy as she works with children and their families to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals. She helps children experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, family dysfunction, bullying, playground conflict, and low self-esteem.

Suzanne has worked in schools and as a mentor for the Raise Foundation. She is passionate about helping children and young people to be resilient, capable and connected. In addition to individual and family counselling, Suzanne supports families with behaviour management and provides guidance during periods of grief, loss, separation, and stress.

  • Bachelor of Business
  • Member Australian Psychological Society (MAPS)
  • Member Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi)
  • Member Australia Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (AACBT)
