Rebecca is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with two decades of paediatric experience supporting children with a range of communication challenges.
Throughout her long career, Rebecca has supported hundreds of children with unique needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders, severe speech sound impairments, language difficulties, and literacy difficulties.
Before moving to Sydney in 2017 to work in private practice, Rebecca spent 15 years as a senior speech and language pathologist with the Tasmanian Department of Education. Her strong classroom and playground experience means that she brings an extra level of understanding to the children she supports.
Rebecca is a creative, kind, and caring therapist who is passionate about helping children to be confident communicators who can learn, socialise and play successfully. Children warm to her gentle encouragement, while parents, therapists, and teachers respect her evidence-based approach to collaborative care.
Rebecca is a popular member of Kids First’s leadership team and guides Kids First’s speech pathology team with sensitivity and skill.
