Join the Kids First team as a speech pathologist

When you join the Kids First team, you will …

  • Provide warm, responsive and evidence-based therapeutic support to children aged 2 to 16.

  • Work in partnership with families and educators to help children to overcome their communication challenges.

  • Collaborate with your Kids First colleagues – psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and specialist early intervention teachers – who are part of Kids First’s on-site multi-disciplinary team.

Days and hours …

This is a full-time role, however we are open to a 4 day a week position if this suits you best.

Opportunities to start with us part-time and increase to full-time in the future are available if this suits your personal circumstances right now.

What you’ll need to be successful …

  • Recognised degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Eligibility to hold a Medicare provider Number
  • Permanent Australian residency
  • Ability to support kids and families outside school hours.
  • Alignment with our values of acting with care, kindness and compassion
