Earn What You’re Worth: Lead, Inspire, and Make a Difference with the Time and Team You Deserve
Are you a psychologist who feels like you’re constantly putting out fires in your current role? Perhaps you’re handling crises, buried in paperwork, or seeing so many clients that you feel that the daily grind leaves little room to make the impact you want. If you’re ready for a change, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
At Kids First Children’s Services, we understand that experienced clinicians can feel stretched too thin. That’s why we’ve created a leadership role where you can focus on what truly matters – leading a passionate team, guiding and inspiring others, and making a lasting difference in the lives of children and families.
Why this role stands out:
Work-Life Balance, Done Right: We offer a realistic caseload that gives you the time and space to mentor your team and still make a difference for clients, without burnout. Forget the stress of managing overwhelming schedules – this is a well-rewarded role designed for long-term satisfaction. Plus, flexible hours mean you can maintain your work-life balance while leading with purpose.
Real Support & Mentoring: At Kids First, your development doesn’t stop. You’ll lead weekly one-on-one mentoring, discipline-specific ‘psychology hubs’, and fortnightly Case Conferences with our team of psychologists, OTs, speech pathologists, and early intervention teachers. Whether you’re mentoring others or receiving support yourself, we’re here to ensure your leadership thrives.
Tailored Career Growth: Your journey at Kids First is unique. Whether you’re guiding a new initiative, shaping the future of your team, or contributing to clinic strategy, you’ll find opportunities to develop your leadership in ways that match your passions and strengths. Leadership at Kids First is about more than numbers – it’s about shaping a team and clinic that reflects your vision.
Community & Connection: You’ll be part of a close-knit team that’s committed to making a difference. We pride ourselves on being a practice driven by our Core Values of Care, Kindness, Compassion, and Making a Contribution. Whether it’s at quarterly off-site connection days, team lunches, or our regular socials, you’ll feel the sense of belonging that sets Kids First apart.
What We Offer:
A salary that reflects your value: We believe in rewarding the years of experience you bring – not just with clients, but also the leadership and insight you offer to your team. You’ll be paid what you’re worth, recognising the real impact you have.
A manageable caseload: You’ll have the time to focus on leadership, guiding your team without the overwhelm. You’ll no longer be bogged down by paperwork or endless KPIs but will have the opportunity to truly make a difference.
Personalised leadership opportunities: We understand that every leader is different. You’ll have the chance to tailor your role, whether you’re taking charge of a new initiative or working closely with other team leads to contribute to the growth and future of Kids First.
