Free Seminar: Happy Kids Happy Families - How to raise resilient kids in today's world

Has the fun has gone out of your family?

Is being a parent harder than you thought it would be?

Do you spend more time worrying about your children’s struggles than celebrating their strengths?

Are you concerned about:

  • Frequently raised voices?
  • Problem behaviours that just don’t seem to be resolving?
  • The stress of juggling your role as a parent with other responsibilities?
  • Conflict with other adults in your child’s life?
  • Guilt about all the things you feel you’re not doing well enough for your kids

Then join us for Kids First’s next free Community Service Seminar where you’ll meet an experienced psychologist who will share simple strategies to help you get your family back on track so that you can start enjoying your kids again.

Kate Kartikeyan - Psychologist

Psychologist Kate Kartikeyan has devoted her career to helping kids overcome their problems and supporting busy mums and dads to become the positive parents that their children need.

Well known for her down to earth approach and decades of clinical experience in schools and private practice, Kate says that it’s sometimes hard to balance what’s best for children with what makes them happy — but that the two don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

In this special, two hour evening seminar, Kate will share simple, successful strategies that are relevant to families of all shapes, sizes and compositions.

No matter how you parent your children – or who you share your parenting responsibilities with – Kate’s practical steps for bringing the fun back to your family are not to be missed.

Join us to find out how you can make meaningful memories, build resilience and form unbreakable bonds with your kids so your family will be the rock solid foundation of their lives.
