Daniel Naidu – Speech Pathologist

Daniel graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) and prior to joining the Kids First team, worked in schools and preschools in Sydney’s eastern and western suburbs.

Children enjoy the unique energy and enthusiasm that Daniel brings to speech therapy, and parents appreciate his thorough and dedicated commitment to helping children overcome their difficulties.

Daniel is an active, innovative and flexible therapist who incorporates children’s hobbies and interests into sessions so that their speech therapy environment is fun, dynamic and rewarding for them.

He has experience supporting preschool and school-aged children who have speech and language delays, stuttering and voice disorders.

Daniel’s background as a school-based speech pathologist also means that he has a strong understanding of the curriculum.

He has helped hundreds of children to overcome their literacy difficulties and to improve their reading, spelling and writing.

In addition to supporting children who attend mainstream schools and preschools, Daniel also supports children with complex communication needs and has worked with children who have conditions such as autism, global developmental delay and intellectual disability.

As a family-centred clinician, Daniel works closely with parents and carers to develop therapy that is engaging and solution-focused.

He collaborates frequently with teachers and other professionals in order to help children meet their social, emotional and educational goals.

Appointments with Daniel can be claimed through private health funds and Medicare (when a plan has been set up by a GP).

He is an active member of our multi-disciplinary Early Intervention team and also supports children who receive Helping Children with Autism and Better Start for Children with Disability funding.
